HOPE Assisted Reproduction Unit

HOPE, the Center for Assisted Reproduction at Trad Hospital, is aware that medical intervention used to alleviate infertility intrudes upon the most private and sensitive parts of our existence and relationships. This is why the unit will always be guided by the respect for human life at all stages of development, by the right of infertile people to proper treatment, and by the welfare of children born as a result of the hospital’s intervention. HOPE will carry these duties to the highest moral, ethical and medical standards and treat all personal and medical information with the utmost confidentiality.

You are not alone.

Infertility is a common problem affecting 1 in 6 couples during their reproductive years. Causes of infertility are equally shared between the male and the female partners. Female causes of infertility include hormonal disorders, irregular ovulation, damaged fallopian tubes, endometriosis, uterine pathology and advanced maternal age. Male causes of infertility include low sperm count, poor sperm motility and morphology, azoospermia, varicocele, and sexual dysfunction.

Personalized Approach

A compassionate team of experts will assess your condition and help you achieve a pregnancy whether by simple medical regimens or by the latest technologies in assisted reproduction. A workup will be performed for every couple. The female partner will undergo a hormone profile, ultrasound exam, x-ray of uterus and tubes (HSG). The male partner will undergo a sperm test, hormone profile and ultrasound. Based on the results of this workup, a treatment will be specially tailored to your needs.
